LUCKNOW: The state that deserves a place of pride for giving the first woman chief minister and governor to India, seems to be unfair to the fairer sex, especially in case of education. Take Lucknow’s example. The city boasts of more colleges for girls than those for boys, but the picture is not as rosy as it appears to be. The courses offered by these girls colleges are mostly academic in nature and hardly help keep them in the race for jobs. |
